Message from the President & CEO
VARC & VPI Have Officially Merged as of January 1
As we ended quarter four on a high note with our VARC New Year's Eve Gala, VARC stepped into 2026 with even bigger shoes. The merger between VARC and VPI (based in the Fox Cities area of Wisconsin) took effect on January 1, significantly expanding our organization and service population.
We are now proud to serve over 3,000 individuals with varying abilities across 18 locations throughout Wisconsin. The breadth of services VARC offers includes licensed childcare, adult day services, supported employment, recovery services, school-to-work transition programming, and early intervention services. VARC and VPI have always provided vital daily support to those with disabilities in Wisconsin, and it has been a rewarding challenge to thoughtfully integrate these organizations with minimal interruption to our clients. I remain optimistic about the success of this massive endeavor, knowing that our hardworking staff and innovative leadership are high-performing professionals dedicated to getting the job done.
We are excited about every opportunity to reshape, streamline, and improve our processes and service quality. Everything we do is driven by our mission to empower individuals with disabilities, and we are establishing infrastructure today that will strengthen and sustain our efforts to continue providing these services for generations to come.
Without further ado, we invite you to take one last glance behind us with this Quarter 4 retrospective, as we capped off VARC's 50th anniversary with a glittering bang.
