This free event will be open to the public at VARC, Inc.’s Monroe Division

In light of the current Coronavirus pandemic, the state of Wisconsin aims to immunize approximately 80% of the eligible population from COVID-19 as soon as possible. To accomplish this goal, the Department of Health Services (DHS) is partnering with organizations across Wisconsin to engage in community outreach, to focus on education, encouragement, and empowerment of those with diverse abilities, backgrounds, and life circumstances, which may lead to vaccination and the advancement of health across Wisconsin.

VARC, Inc. will set up space where the public of Monroe County can gather and learn about the latest educational updates regarding the COVID-19 vaccine. The purpose of this event is to allow the public access to the resources they will need in order to make informed decisions about what is best for them on an individual basis.

The Monroe County Health Department will host this educational forum at VARC Inc.’s Monroe Division (402 S. Black River Street, Sparta, WI) on July 6, 2021. This free event is open to the public, running from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM. Attendees can expect local health professionals to present and answer questions regarding the COVID-19 vaccine, and can take home the latest informational handouts pertaining to the information discussed on that day.
