Individualized Services

VARC, Inc. is highly experienced in meeting the needs of clients with varying abilities. An individualized, age-appropriate service plan is developed to assist each participant in gaining the necessary skills to live fulfilling and productive lives. VARC provides services that are individual-focused and inclusive of the child, their family, and their community.

Experienced Staff

Staff are well-trained in many areas, including providing personal care assistance and medication oversight. Staff are also experienced in proactive behavior management, and demonstrate safe practices in working with individuals with challenging behaviors. VARC’s services are designed to improve the well-being of those we serve, and is driven by our mission to remove barriers of those with varying abilities.

Meaningful Participation

Through VARC, clients participate in activities that are focused on enhancing their current abilities, and obtaining new skills. Clients are provided the opportunity to apply those skills in a variety of community settings throughout their day. One-on-one and group learning experiences are provided for all clients, to prepare them to navigate their communities, relationships, and lives as independently as possible.

The philosophy of VARC Children’s Services is to nurture the whole child, provide respective services, and to support independence. We promote emotional literacy, daily living skills, and strive to provide a foundation of self-esteem for all children.
