Founded in 1975, our organizational purpose is to administer  comprehensive and cooperative services for the general well-being and advancement of persons with varying abilities.

Communities throughout the state seek our consultation and often ask how they can duplicate our provision of services.  First, they must have a team of visionaries, unbound by trends.  We believe in no restrictions.  VARC is a visionary organization, working to preserve our mission as well as encouraging vigorous change and creativity.  We do both… at the same time… all of the time.
