Founded in 1975, our organizational purpose is to administer  comprehensive and cooperative services for the general well-being and advancement of persons with barriers to employment.

Communities throughout the state seek our consultation and often ask how they can duplicate our provision of services.  First, they must have a team of visionaries, unbound by trends.  We believe in no restrictions.  VARC is a visionary organization, working to preserve our mission as well as encouraging vigorous change and creativity.  We do both… at the same time… all of the time.
